Ruru has been recently registered as a company and has roots in Civix. This example is of a project that was carried out by current Civix employees, who will be involved in Ruru going forward.

Civix was engaged by Poho-O-Rawiri Marae to complete civil design drawing including Accessway design, Stormwater management and treatment design, Service Connections, and earthworks cut/fill plans for the upgrade of the existing marae grounds. Our planners assisted the development project to complete the consenting requirements for the Māori owned land.

The importance of maintaining correct tikanga for the local Tangata Whenua was highlighted as essential for the project, and at the time allowed our engineers to select specialized stormwater treatment solutions to minimize the effect of the new pavement solutions required to increase the marae capacity.
